Bob is a 7th generation Mississippian who received his BBA degree in Finance from the University of Mississippi. He received his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law. He has been practicing law for over 30 years. He is admitted to practice in both Mississippi and Texas. He is the former District Attorney for the 294th Judicial District in Texas. He is admitted in the state courts of Texas as well as the Federal court for the Eastern District of Texas. He is admitted in all Mississippi state courts, the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi as well as the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Cornelius has been involved representing husbands and wives, men and women in hundreds of divorces in Mississippi. He has extensive business experience and has the ability to unravel complex financial issues between the parties. That experience includes estates, and real estate ownerships. As a former Merrill Lynch securities broker, dealing with financial planning he can analyze a myriad of financial situations. Furthermore, he has presided over hundreds of real estate deals; with divorce often an issue.
